Learning Environment
The OROT Philosophy
OROT is a “school within a school,” created to provide essential academic, social and behavioral support to diverse learners attending Jewish day school. It is our purpose to empower diverse learners with the opportunity to experience a Jewish day school education.
OUR PARTNER SCHOOLS
Each of our partner schools is a community within itself―a family―that supports students in special ways. That sense of family and community is doubled when a child is also cared for by OROT. We are ever mindful of the trust placed in us and honored to be a part of our students’ lives.

Our Curriculum
OROT seeks to provide the best possible Jewish, secular and social curriculum, instruction and environment. We are here to meet the individual needs of students beyond the general classroom.
For each student we serve, the OROT team creates a leaning plan unique to that student―from thoroughly assessing specific needs, to identifying the right teacher or teachers, to understanding the teaching modalities that are most effective for a particular student. It is always our goal to spark engagement and fully illuminate learning.
